Huntsville Madison county Railroad Authority (HMCRA) Friday June 21. Departure from the DoubleTree at 9:30am and 1:30pm (tours begin on site ½ hour later). Each tour can take 15 people.
Be in the hotel lobby 15 minutes prior to departure.
Cost $30.00
There will be a short presentation on the NC & STL and L&N root of HMCRA followed by a safety talk. Then a walking tour and tour of one of the GE Dash 8 Locos.
Required: long pants and closed toed shoes
Polaris Industries Friday June 21. Departure from the DoubleTree at 8:30am and 12:30pm (tours begin on site ½ hour later). Each tour can take 15 people.

Cost $25.00
Polaris is the largest manufacturer of off road vehicles in the U.S.. They design, engineer and manufacture vehicles at this plant. They have three assembly lines to meet their needs. The plant employs 1700 people at full capacity.

The Huntsville International Intermodal Center provides a single hub location specializing in receiving, transferring, storing, and distributing international and domestic cargo via rail air, and highway. The International Intermodal Center opened in 1986 in the Global Logistics Park at the Port of Huntsville. The rail terminal is served by Norfolk Southern, with dedicated stack train service to/from both east coast and west coast ports. U.S. Customs and Border Protection port inspectors, USDA inspectors, freight forwarders, and customs brokers are all located on-site. Required: Long pants and closed toe shoes.
